CALL FOR AUTHORS
——Articles wanted for the new IEEE Electrification Magazine
The launch of IEEE Electrification Magazine has created an opportunity for professionals within the industry and academic community to submit articles for publication. We welcome your expertise in the areas of:
Feature articles focus on advanced concepts, technologies, and practices associated with all aspects of electrification in the transportation and off-grid sectors from a technical perspective in synergy with nontechnical areas such as business, environmental, and social concerns.
There is no IEEE magazine which has a global view of electrification in both transportation and off-grid electrification applications. The IEEE Electrification Magazine will fill the need felt by engineers in industry as well as policy makers who require information on the technology, use cases and field experience of electrification.
※All papers presented at ITEC Asia-Pacific 2014 are possible to be published on the new IEEE Electrification Magazine.

Final Paper Submission Guidelines
English is the working language of the conference. If English is not your native language, please have your paper read by a native English speaker, or seek online services to improve the language of your paper. Please note that your paper is subject to further review and it may be rejected if it is deemed that English of your paper is not acceptable.
2. Format and Final Paper Template
Papers are limited to six (6) pages and must conform to the IEEE two-column format for conference papers. Up to two (2) additional pages may be included, but authors will be required to pay additional charges. The fee for each additional page is $45. Submissions exceeding eight (8) pages will not be accepted.
Templates are available here: The IEEE Templates
3. Electronic File Requirements
Final papers are to be submitted electronically. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and included in the IEEE Xplore® online digital library.
IEEE is very strict with the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®. Please follow the instructions in “IEEE PDF File Preparation Guide for IEEE Xplore” which describes the essential steps in distilling PDFs that meet IEEE requirements.
It is important to make sure that all fonts used in the paper are embedded, especially for papers from Asia and Europe. The "IEEE PDF File Preparation Guide for IEEE Xplore®" reveals the process to ensure that all fonts used are embedded accordingly. Failure to embed and subset fonts is the biggest obstacle to PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore®. Papers failing to meet IEEE Xplore® PDF requirements will not be included in IEEE Xplore®.
Please note that all final papers must be converted using PDFexpress from the following link, in accordance with the IEEE PDF specification. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at http://www.pdf-express.org/. Please click the following button to register at IEEE PDF eXpress and use conference ID [32870X] to check your PDF file or to convert it to an acceptable PDF file.
The instructions for first time IEEE PDF Express users are available in the first-time users link.
4. IEEE Copyright Form
All authors must submit a signed IEEE Copyright Form with their final submission by July 15, 2014. This can be done online via the IEEE eCopyright web site. Alternately, authors can upload a sighed Copyright Form as a PDF file.
Authors may download the Copyright Form from http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/copyrightmain.html.
Failure to submit a signed IEEE Copyright Form will result in the paper not being published in IEEE Xplore.
5. Final Submission
All submissions should be written in English, must be electronically submitted in PDF format, and will be peer-reviewed. Papers submission at: http://edas.info/N16219
※ All papers presented at ITEC Asia-Pacific 2014 will be published by IEEE Xplorer and be cited in EI (Engineering Index).
※ All papers presented at ITEC Asia-Pacific are also eligible for submitting to IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, Transactions on Power Electronics, Transactions on Energy Conversion or Transactions on Transportation Electrification for publication review. Successful submissions after peer review will be published on the respective IEEE Transactions.
